The semi-final round at was brilliant-
12 semi-finalists were short-listed on the basis of a concept note we had to submit about our social enterprise.
The ideas were really diverse; as were the backgrounds of the entrepreneurs.
There were quite a few entrants from the Said Business School.
Each team had to pitch their idea in 5 minutes to an audience of over 300 people, as well as a panel of highly accomplished judges.
The pitch was a brilliant experience. We were mentored for an hour before the actual event- I learned an entire course's worth of information on selling an idea and public speaking within the hour.
